People Who Break Up Families
Most people would have little difficulty agreeing that the family unit is the basic component of society, and that is the stability of the family is important to the future well-being of our children. Yet, while this is true, it seems many will turn a blind eye to one of the most corrupting and dangerous influences around today. I’m talking about a problem which has bigger impact on the stability of the family unit than pornography and prostitution combined.
The problem I’m talking about is websites which promote infidelity, and make it easy for people to hook up with partners outside of their marriage. These sites profit by charging people membership fees in order to become part of a list of people actively looking for someone to have an affair with.
It’s very easy to be reasonable and “modern” about this, if you’ve never had to deal with the wreckage caused by a broken household. But the truth is that this ruins lives every day, and people who are making money out of this are just sick. They see an opportunity to earn money without caring about the damage they cause. I think this is unacceptable, and I think a lot of other people do too.
It’s time to let these people know we’re not going to take this sitting down. What I recommend you do is contact the website owners and let them know just what you think about their business. You don’t have to stop there, you can contact your political representatives and demand that they take action as well.
We really do have it in our power to make a difference, as long as we’re willing to take courage to act. Any worthwhile change in society has to be fought for, but then again every degradation we have ever faced was watched by apathetic people who thought that someone should be doing something about it. While it is true that people must sometimes expose themselves to ridicule by making a stand for what they believe is right, the opinion of people who would support something that is so clearly destructive is not really worthwhile anyway.
Over time I’m going to be adding more websites to this list, but these ones are good to start with. They are the most active websites promoting themselves via paid advertising and search engine rankings. Feel free to let me know about any additional ones which are not on this list, I plan to make it as complete as possible overtime.
